Hyatt’s first Times Square hotel is now open, bringing 795 rooms, skyline views, and Broadway-inspired charm to the heart of Manhattan.
A new luxury stay steps from the stage
The newly opened Hyatt Regency Times Square made its debut on July 15, 2025, marking the first Hyatt Regency hotel in New York’s famed theater district. Owned by Argent Ventures and managed by global hospitality group Highgate, the upscale property reinvents a prime Midtown address into a guest-forward destination bridging business and culture.
“Hyatt Regency Times Square is the most exciting recent addition to New York City’s hotel landscape,”
Mohit Malhotra, General Manager, Hyatt Regency Times Square, said.
“The Hyatt Regency brand offers a seamless travel experience for both business and leisure guests. The hotel’s stunning design, incredible views and exhilarating location is complemented with comfort, convenience and genuine care for our guests, World of Hyatt members and customers.”
Design rooted in Broadway inspiration
Located at 1605 Broadway, the hotel features a dramatic glass-portico entrance that opens to a two-story atrium lobby. Designed by Gensler with execution support from Lucid, Highgate’s development arm, the interiors pay tribute to the city’s theater culture with warm tones, stone columns, and canopy-like ceiling installations inspired by marquee lights.
Each of the hotel’s 795 rooms—flooded with natural light via oversized windows—emphasizes livability and function. Details like marble-topped nightstands, blackout curtains, and built-in tech blending easily with soft furnishings elevate every stay. For those seeking indulgence, the 969-sq-ft Penthouse Suite offers panoramic skyline views from Times Square to the Hudson, with the option to expand into adjoining rooms.
A musical wink to MAMMA MIA!
In honor of MAMMA MIA! returning to Broadway on August 2, Hyatt Regency Times Square unveils a first-of-its-kind themed suite inspired by the beloved musical’s sunny Greek island setting. Decked in bright coastal colors and whimsical décor, the suite promises an immersive escape for stage fans.
Dining meets design at Cue 48
Soon to open in the expansive lobby, Cue 48 will serve as an all-day restaurant and lounge with views of 48th Street. By day, it functions as a relaxed café; by night, a sophisticated cocktail spot. Elevated menu options, a warm ambiance, and seamless guest flow make this soon-to-launch venue a key piece of the hotel’s social footprint.
Fitness fans will also appreciate one of Manhattan’s largest in-hotel gyms, complete with high-end strength and cardio equipment. Complementary wellness offerings and health-forward dining are designed to keep travelers on track, even on the go.
Business meets Broadway
The base of Hyatt Regency Times Square is home to 290,000 square feet of commercial space now being marketed by CBRE. Flexible floorplans, private entrances, and dramatic signage opportunities provide rare retail and office space in the bustling heart of Midtown. The space creates a synergy between hospitality and commerce unlike any other Times Square address.
Part of Hyatt’s growing NYC portfolio
Joining nearly 30 Hyatt properties in New York City, the hotel follows the spring opening of Hotel Seville Nomad under The Unbound Collection by Hyatt. It reinforces Hyatt’s commitment to expanding in key global metros with vibrant cultural offerings.
