Halekulani has expanded its Premier Suite collection with the debut of The Bungalow and The Penthouse, offering guests elevated new options for luxury stays on Oahu’s iconic Waikiki Beach.
Elevated living at Halekulani
Honolulu’s Halekulani has added two new Premier Suites to its acclaimed collection, now totaling five uniquely designed spaces for travelers seeking privacy, comfort, and personalized experiences. The Bungalow and The Penthouse reflect Halekulani’s refined approach to luxury, blending architectural charm and Hawaiian heritage with modern design and exclusive amenities.
“We are thrilled to introduce The Bungalow and The Penthouse, enhancing our collection of elevated accommodations that reflect the unparalleled luxury and hospitality for which our hotel is world-renowned,”
Davide Barnes, General Manager of Halekulani, said.
“With our new Premier Suites, we aim to provide an unforgettable retreat where every detail is carefully crafted to ensure the utmost comfort and satisfaction of our discerning guests.”
New design-driven getaways
The Bungalow, designed by New York-based firm Champalimaud Design, offers a modern interpretation of Halekulani’s original early 1900s bungalows. Inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement, the suite features hand-blown glass sconces, trellis woodwork accented with Thunbergia fragrans vines, a private patio and cabana, and direct access to the Orchid Pool.
The Penthouse showcases mid-century Hawaiian design, with vintage pieces sourced from Honolulu’s Hound & Quail, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a wraparound lanai that offers panoramic views of the Pacific. Highlights include a retro record player and vinyl collection, a private tiki bar with a dedicated mixologist, a luxurious master suite, and an outdoor entertainment space for up to 12 guests.
Signature Halekulani service
The new accommodations join Halekulani’s existing Premier Suites—the Royal Suite, Orchid Suite, and Vera Wang-designed Halekulani Suite. Guests enjoy signature offerings like personal butler service, private roundtrip SUV transfers, in-room registration, daily breakfast, and fully equipped kitchens and bars.
Rates for The Bungalow and The Penthouse start at $5,000 per night.
