Windstar Cruises is making it easier than ever to book a spontaneous European escape with its new lineup of quick getaways.
Quick Getaways: Big Adventure, Less Time
Windstar Cruises is introducing a series of 3- to 5-night “Quick Getaways” for spring 2026, offering small-yacht journeys that blend iconic cities with hidden gems. Itineraries include rare highlights like sailing under London’s Tower Bridge or wine tasting in Southern France—designed for travelers short on PTO but craving new experiences.
“These new sailings are designed for spontaneity and simplicity,” said Jess Peterson, Windstar Cruises’ director of itinerary planning.
“They’re the perfect way to experience the Windstar style of travel—especially if you’re already traveling for work or play in Europe. With overnight flights from the East Coast, you can be sailing beneath the Tower Bridge or sipping wine in Southern France with minimal jet lag and no time wasted.”
Sample Itineraries
- A Taste of Southern France: 3 nights kayaking Sète, strolling Collioure, and exploring Carcassonne.
- La Dolce Vita in Italy & France: 3 nights among Tuscan vineyards and Corsican villages.
- Belgium: A Sweet Getaway: Explore Bruges’ canals, Belgian chocolates, and castles.
- St. Malo Getaway: 4 nights cruising through London’s Tower Bridge to Mont St. Michel.
