Sail Europe in Style with Windstar’s New Mini Cruises

Windstar Cruises is breaking convention with its new “Quick Getaways,” offering stylish 3- to 5-night yacht journeys across Europe starting spring 2026. Guests can now pack more adventure into less time, hopping from big-city thrills to hidden gems—all in Windstar’s signature relaxed luxury.

Chic Short Cruises Arrive

Windstar Cruises breaks tradition with its new “Quick Getaways,” a collection of bite-sized European yacht voyages launching spring 2026. With nine departure dates and five itineraries, guests can now sail from London’s Tower Bridge to the storybook citadel of Carcassonne—fitting more into less vacation time.

“These new sailings are designed for spontaneity and simplicity,”

Jess Peterson, director of itinerary planning at Windstar Cruises, said

“They’re the perfect way to experience the Windstar style of travel—especially if you’re already traveling for work or play in Europe. With overnight flights from the East Coast, you can be sailing beneath the Tower Bridge or sipping wine in Southern France with minimal jet lag and no time wasted.”

Smart Reasons, Sweet Destinations

Quick Getaways allow travelers to book last-minute, add a mini-vacation to a work trip, or pair with longer land tours. Each cruise blends postcard cities with places most big ships miss, bringing a true taste of Windstar’s relaxed, yacht-style experience.
