Louis Vuitton takes a bold step into luxury beauty with the launch of La Beauté, its much-anticipated makeup collection, shaped by the creative direction of legendary artist Pat McGrath.
Artistic vision meets iconic heritage
Unveiled in March and set for release on August 29, La Beauté is the Maison’s first foray into makeup, blending Louis Vuitton’s signature craftsmanship with McGrath’s boundary-pushing artistry. Drawing deeply from the House’s codes, McGrath ensured the formulas, colors, and refined packaging (featuring the iconic monogram) feel like modern heirlooms for beauty lovers.
“Working backstage for over 20 years at Louis Vuitton fashion shows, I am thrilled to now play such a key role in the launch of La Beauté Louis Vuitton, which is the result of extraordinary craftsmanship, creativity and innovation,” said Pat McGrath. “The beauty universe is about so much more than just product, and what we are creating here will unlock a new level in luxury beauty.”
She also shared, “I’ve always said makeup is more than product: It’s performance, obsession and emotion. This new chapter is about pushing craftsmanship into a new realm,” McGrath said.
