Atmos Rewards Takes Off with Alaska and Hawaiian

Experience the future of airline loyalty as Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines unveil Atmos™ Rewards, a new program designed to make earning and using points easier—and more rewarding—than ever.

Atmos Rewards Redefines Airline Loyalty

Frequent flyers have plenty to celebrate with the launch of Atmos Rewards, which merges Alaska’s renowned Mileage Plan and HawaiianMiles into a single, flexible platform. Travelers will now access more ways to earn, even richer perks, and redemption options spanning over 1,000 global destinations, including flights through oneworld partner airlines.

Why Atmos Rewards and Why Now?

Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines recognized the need for a loyalty program that is both generous and customizable for every kind of traveler. Atmos Rewards introduces a groundbreaking triple-earning system—allowing members to choose how they earn points: by distance traveled, price paid, or flight segments.

Andrew Harrison, Chief Commercial Officer at Alaska Airlines, shared:

“Atmos Rewards is more than a loyalty program – it’s a reflection of how guests travel today,” said Andrew Harrison. “We listened to what our members value most and built a program that’s grounded in generosity, personalization and practicality. We’re putting our members in the pilot’s seat, giving them control over how they earn and redeem, while honoring the legacy and values of both Alaska and Hawaiian.”

What Members Can Expect

  • Choose your earning style: by miles flown, price paid, or flight segments
  • Rewards start at just 4,500 points for one-way travel
  • Points can be redeemed across Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, and 30+ partner carriers
  • Free ultra-fast Starlink Wi-Fi for members rolling out in 2026

Communities, Continuity, and Perks

Members keep favorite local perks like Club 49 for Alaska and Huakaʻi by Hawaiian, while new Atmos Communities launch soon for residency and interest-based benefits. Existing Mileage Plan and HawaiianMiles rewards transition automatically—points, elite status, and account numbers all remain unchanged.

A Premium Program for a Global Future

Atmos Rewards signals a strategic shift as Alaska and Hawaiian position themselves for worldwide expansion—with new direct flights from Seattle to Rome, London, and Reykjavik  in 2026, and up to 17 787s in a new Seattle hub by 2030.
