InterContinental New York Times Square is celebrating its 15th anniversary at the vibrant crossroads of Times Square, the Theatre District, Hell’s Kitchen, and Hudson Yards.
Art and celebration at the heart of the city
The InterContinental New York Times Square is hosting a two-day anniversary event with live painting by Marco Santini on July 11 and 12. Guests and visitors can join in creating a unique artwork, which will be unveiled during a champagne toast at The Stinger Cocktail Bar & Kitchen.
Special treats and social moments
Throughout the summer, guests can enjoy the “Cheers to 15” amenity—a French 75 cocktail and a snack—available as a room amenity or at The Stinger. The hotel is also sharing daily “Guest What?” facts on Instagram and Facebook, highlighting fun stories and behind-the-scenes moments.
A legacy of hospitality and innovation
Jeff Krauthamer, General Manager, said,
“This anniversary marks the hotel’s legacy as a host to so many special guests at its vibrant intersection, where the city’s diverse culture, theatre, and dining all meet. It is a testament to our commitment to providing a truly unique and exceptional experience for our guests; InterContinental New York Times Square has been a part of the ever-evolving New York City landscape and has consistently offered a blend of modern luxury and culturally relevant experiences, appealing to a diverse range of travelers. We’re thrilled to continue redefining luxury for a new generation of travelers.”
Sustainability and prime location
Since opening in 2010, the hotel has been a landmark for modern luxury and sustainability, being the largest Manhattan hotel built from the ground up since 2002 and the city’s largest to achieve LEED certification. Its location offers guests easy access to Broadway, Hudson Yards, and New York’s cultural highlights.
