Celebrity Cruises is giving its Solstice Series ships a bold new look with a $250 million upgrade, starting in 2026.
A Fresh Take on Classic Cruising
The transformation begins with Celebrity Solstice in March 2026, featuring eight new experiences—including four venues never before seen at sea—and a host of redesigned favorites. Every detail, from staterooms to top-deck escapes, is being reimagined to elevate the guest experience.
“Our Solstice Series ships represent the best of classic cruising, and now we’re elevating this vacation experience even further by adding brand new experiences and enhancements at every turn,” Laura Hodges Bethge, president of Celebrity Cruises, said. “Guests will enjoy more ways to explore and restore, all while staying true to what made our guests fall in love with these ships in the first place.”
What’s New Onboard
- Boulevard Lounge: An intimate cabaret-inspired venue with interactive daytime activities and elevated evening entertainment.
- Boulevard Bar: Handcrafted cocktails before or after the show.
- Celebrity Barcade: A new sports bar with screens, billiards, darts, and retro board games.
- Trattoria Rossa: A modern Italian spot with tableside preparations and fresh pasta daily.
- Fine Cut Steakhouse: The Edge Series favorite brings dry-aged steaks and fresh seafood to Solstice ships.
Outdoor Escapes and Enhanced Retreat
- Sunset Park: A top-deck outdoor oasis with views, cuisine, cocktails, lawn games, and open-air concerts.
- Private Cabanas & Expanded Sunset Bar: More shade, personalized service, and happy hour ocean views.
- The Retreat: Enhanced suites, a new sundeck with an oversized hot tub, and a redesigned lounge for Retreat guests.
Stateroom Upgrades and New Categories
All 1,479 staterooms on Celebrity Solstice will be upgraded, including refreshed AquaClass staterooms with spa-inspired amenities. Four new stateroom categories will debut: Panoramic Infinite Veranda Suite, Deluxe Panoramic Oceanview Suite, Panoramic Ocean View Suite, and Deluxe Panoramic Ocean View as on Cruise Critic, Cruise Industry News.
Itineraries and Grand Voyage
After its revitalization, Celebrity Solstice will sail itineraries from Alaska and Hawaii to Fiji and Southeast Asia. In September 2026, the ship will embark on a 110-night Grand Voyage, visiting more than 55 unique ports Porthole.
