Historic baseball at Jackie Robinson Ballpark
Catch the Daytona Tortugas as they wrap up their season at the historic Jackie Robinson Ballpark (“The Jack”), the oldest operating Minor League Baseball park. The ballpark, a National Commemorative Site, made history in 1946 when Jackie Robinson became the first African American to play in an integrated Major League Baseball spring training game. This year’s final home series runs August 26–31 against the Clearwater Threshers.
Free concerts and fireworks at the Bandshell
The Daytona Beach Bandshell hosts free concerts Friday and Saturday nights. On August 29, audiences will be treated to a Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers tribute, while Saturday, August 30, features REO Survivor & Co. and Chicago Rewired paying homage to REO Speedwagon, Survivor, Loverboy, and Chicago. Saturday concerts end with fireworks at 9:45 p.m. VIP tickets are available for $15.
Car culture on display at the Elite Tuner Car Show
Car enthusiasts can enjoy the Elite Tuner Car Show at the Ocean Center on Saturday, August 30, starting at 3 p.m. The event features high-performance builds, custom tuner cars, and modified imports—a must for automotive fans.
Family fun at Ponce Inlet Lighthouse
Celebrate Labor Day at the Lighthouse with extended hours, living history, workshops, and crafts for kids. Climb Florida’s tallest lighthouse for stunning views and explore 250 years of lighthouse history. Activities are free with regular admission from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
New attractions and classic favorites
- The Daytona Aquarium & Rainforest Adventure debuts a new Rainforest section, home to toucans, sloths, otters, and tamarins.
- The Marine Science Center in Ponce Inlet, newly renovated, offers expanded exhibits and visitor amenities to deepen understanding of marine ecosystems.
- PopStroke Daytona Beach, co-owned by Tiger Woods, lets you enjoy two 18-hole miniature golf courses, a restaurant, outdoor games, an ice cream shop, and playground.
