The Luxury Collection, part of Marriott Bonvoy, has partnered with Los Angeles artist Michael McGregor to celebrate three of its most cherished North American hotels: Palace Hotel in San Francisco, Hotel Ivy in Minneapolis, and Perry Lane Hotel in Savannah. McGregor’s vibrant drawings, inspired by his stays, capture each hotel’s unique heritage and local charm.
Art Meets Hospitality
McGregor’s expressive works highlight:
- The Gilded Age elegance of Palace Hotel, San Francisco
- The creative energy of Hotel Ivy, Minneapolis
- The historic romance of Perry Lane Hotel, Savannah
Guests will see these illustrations woven into their stay via welcome notes, amenity cards, and other bespoke touches, deepening their sense of place.

Each hotel will offer creative programs inspired by McGregor’s process:
- Palace Hotel: “Sketches Through Time” walking tour and sketching session with a local artist
- Perry Lane Hotel: “Sketch & Sip” rooftop event with guest art competition and prizes
- Hotel Ivy: Sketching class in the hotel’s skyway, led by local artists
