Princess Cruises reveals biggest Alaska season yet for 2027

Princess Cruises has announced a record-setting Alaska lineup for 2027, featuring more ships, more glacier adventures, and a second season for Star Princess.

Star Princess headlines new Alaska adventures

Returning for another year, Star Princess will lead the 2027 Alaska season with weekly Inside Passage cruises roundtrip from Seattle. The next-generation Sphere Class ship joins a fleet of eight vessels and 187 departures, giving travelers more chances than ever to explore Alaska’s wild landscapes.

Expanded itineraries and glacier viewing

Princess will offer 17 unique Alaska itineraries from five homeports — Seattle, Vancouver, Anchorage, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Guests can choose from four glacier experiences, including Glacier Bay National Park, Hubbard Glacier, College Fjord, and Endicott Arm & Dawes Glacier, with 85 calls to Glacier Bay — more than any other cruise line.

Land and sea: immersive cruisetours

Travelers can combine their cruise with one of 28 land tour options, staying at custom-built Princess wilderness lodges near Denali, Kenai Fjords, and Wrangell-St. Elias National Parks. Standout packages include the 17-night Denali Escorted Cruisetour, visiting up to four national parks and offering same-day rail service between ship and lodge.

What sets Princess apart

Princess Cruises remains the leader in Alaska travel, with nearly 60 years of expertise and more passengers sailing Glacier Bay than any competitor. Most staterooms feature unobstructed balcony views for prime glacier watching, and the cruises come packed with family-friendly programming and exclusive offers — from up to 40% off select sailings to free room upgrades for early bookings.

For 2027, we’ve designed experiences to bring guests closer to the soul of the Great Land – closer to glaciers, closer to wildlife, and closer to local culture and communities both onboard and ashore – all in a way only Princess can deliver.”
