Vegas Illusions get a dazzling upgrade

The Museum of Illusions Las Vegas has introduced four newly redesigned exhibits inspired by the city’s vibrant culture and extended its summer hours for visitors.

A Fresh Take on Iconic Illusions

The Museum of Illusions Las Vegas, the flagship location of the global Museum of Illusions Group, has reopened four of its most popular attractions Ames Window, Building Illusion, Reversed Room, and RGB Room with new designs inspired by the vibrant spirit of Sin City.

We are constantly creating new designs and illusions to wow our guests at every turn, whether it’s for our local community or tourists, to ensure we’re keeping the mind-bending excitement our reality, Kim Schaefer, CEO of Museum of Illusions, said “Las Vegas is rich with history, beautiful architecture and some truly iconic signs, so we’re excited to unveil several new designs that perfectly capture the heart and culture of the city.”

What’s New? A Tour of the Updated Exhibits

  • Building Illusion: Now features the city’s iconic diamond-shaped “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign and architectural details inspired by Downtown Las Vegas.
  • Reversed Room: Redesigned to reflect the dazzling overhead screens and neon signage of Fremont Street, immersing guests in classic Vegas vibes.
  • RGB Room: Boasts a brand-new mural inspired by lush forests, seas, and jungles, created in partnership with Italian artist Carnovsky.
  • Ames Window: This mind-bending illusion, originally developed by scientist Adelbert Ames, has been reimagined to further challenge visitors’ perceptions of depth, shape, and motion.

Extended Summer Hours for More Fun

To help locals and tourists escape the heat and bustle of The Strip, the museum will extend its hours from June 29 through July 31, opening daily from 10 a.m. to midnight. Final admission is one hour before closing, giving guests plenty of time to explore the new illusions and enjoy the air-conditioned fun.
